The short answer to your question is yes, CyberDating does permanently remove all of your personal information from our database when you delete your dating profile.
According to a news article, eHarmony have been saving the personal information of members who delete their profiles in the assumption that the member will change his or her mind some time in the future. Since it is so difficult to become an eHarmony member it may be a somewhat valid concern, but none the less, it does fly in the face of the member's trust of the popular dating site.
At CyberDating, other than log files that document the activity on our website and our regular database backups, once you delete your profile all of your personal data is deleted from our database and it cannot be recovered.
We do however, offer you the option to "hide your profile", which allows you to remove your personal ad from public view while leaving your data in our database. This is a great option for those who want to take their information off our website temporarily without having to reenter their profile when they decide to become active again in the future.
